This was originally just a pencil-shaded drawing from the "Kourmori Dragon" card. Then I scanned it to PhotoShop and started some touch-up. I realized that that "smudge" tool is your friend, and ended up "digitally thumb-smudging" the whole thing... it kindda made him look metallic... hence the name.
